About the journey:

It is a journey through ancient lost worlds: the Himalayan valley of Kulu, where the Roerichs lived and created, and Dharamsala, where the Dalai Lama XIV lives in the foothills of the Himalayas. Now the heart of Tibetan Buddhism, Dharamsala is a refuge” for thousands of refugees from Tibet who were unable to remain in their homeland because of the Chinese invasion. Thousands of people from all over the world come here to study and have an audience with the Dalai Lama. Dharamsala is the strongest spiritual place at the foot of the Himalayas, it is New Tibet.

Kulu Valley (Kuluta, the Edge of the Earth) is a world of gods hidden in the mountains, combining the highest energy of life, able to discover the source of infinite power, to find its meaning to live on joyfully. The Roerichs lived and created here for 20 years, and their estate, which is open to visitors, is preserved. We will take part in the opening of the Spring Festival at the Roerichs’ residence. The program includes a solemn Hindu puja at the samadhi site of Nikolai Konstantinovich Roerich, a festive concert and a scientific conference.

It’s a journey to the present self. “You never really changed. You were just becoming more and more yourself. You were searching for the meaning of life, and as it turned out, you were on your way to being you. On the way, you were losing everything that wasn’t yours, that wasn’t imposed. You were remembering yourself.” Dalai Lama XIV.
