            Tibet is located high in the mountains. The most important moment in such a program is competent acclimatization, which, according to our experience, should take place in comfortable conditions.<\/strong><\/p> \n

            We arrive in the capital Lhasa and immediately get to an altitude of 3650 meters. Therefore, for a milder acclimatization we suggest moving directly from Lhasa airport to Tsedang, which is located at an altitude of 3100 meters (1.5 hours from the airport).<\/p> \n

            We spend the first few days in Tsedang, resting and visiting the first Buddhist monastery in Tibet, Samye.<\/p> \n

            <\/p> \n

            Next we move on to Lhasa. There we see local monasteries and temples, as well as the Potala Palace, the historic residence of the Dalai Lam. Next, we gradually gain altitude.<\/p> \n

            One of the climax points of our route is Mount Everest.<\/strong> We will visit Everest Base Camp at an altitude of 5050 meters, spend sunset there and meet the dawn. This will be good preparation for us for the bark.<\/p> \n

            Then with stops and excursions we reach the starting point of the pilgrimage route around Mt. Kailas – Darchen settlement (4576 m). Here we are acclimatizing again. And only after that we make a detour around Mount Kailas and gradually reach the maximum point of our program – 5669m.<\/p> \n

            For good health in Tibet, in addition to competent climbing and drinking plenty of water, it is important not to overcool yourself and to eat well. That’s why we don’t save on accommodation, but stay in good hotels of 4* and 3* level, where there is hot water in showers and heating<\/strong> (air conditioners work for heating). <\/p> \n

            Ascesis time will come, that’s also part of the program – 4 days of trekking on a pilgrimage trail around Mount Kailas at high altitude, without showers and in gesthouses. But by the beginning of the bark around Mount Kailas, you must be healthy and strong enough to make the journey you have come for.<\/p> \n
