Bhutan is a mysterious kingdom in which we will see the phenomenon of a country untouched by the achievements of modern civilization. Limited access to the country for tourists and its isolation from the outside world allows it to maintain its national identity and authenticity, not for nothing it is called the “Last Shangri-La. Bhutan is the last place on the planet where nature and wildlife remain pure and unspoiled, people are simple and open. People there wear national costumes, and until a few years ago there was no television or radio in Bhutan. The Tibetan culture is preserved here in its purest form. This is the land of Buddhism, purity and enlightenment.<\/p> \n \n

Bhutan is often rated as the happiest country in the world,<\/strong> and the economy here is not measured by Gross Domestic Product (GDP) but by Gross National Happiness.<\/p> \n \n

The doors to this marvelous realm were not opened until 1974. It is still forbidden to travel to Bhutan on your own, and you can only get here by buying a tour.<\/strong><\/p> \n \n

Bhutan is an expensive country because a government tax of $200 per day per person is collected from each tourist for each day of stay. In this way the government regulates the number of tourists and preserves the identity and purity of this country.<\/p> \n \n

On this tour you will visit sacred places of Nepal and Bhutan<\/strong>!Ancient Stupas of Kathmandu Valley, little known monasteries and temples, visiting the city of craftsmen and participating in pujas.In Bhutan you will visit the sacred places of Bhutan: the magnificent Punakha Dzong<\/strong>, the ancient pilgrimage site of Kichu Lhakang<\/strong>, and, of course, the famous Paro Taksang (Nest of the Tigress)<\/strong>.In addition, you will visit an authentic Bhutanese village – Gangtey<\/strong>, which is located in the valley Phobjikha. This valley is the overnighting place of the Black-necked Crane<\/strong>, a rare bird. Cranes come here in the fall from Tibet, where they get cold. Here they are treated so reverently that all the electricity is underground, and for a long time the Internet and television were not installed here, believing that all this could disturb the peace of the bird. The most amazing thing is that on arrival, the flock of birds makes three circles around the Monastery, as if making a bark. This is also what they do in the spring before heading to Tibet. <\/p> \n \n
