About the journey<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n

We drive through three (actually five) ancient Himalayan valleys in the state of Himachal in India: Kinnor, Spiti, and Kulu. These places are an ancient lost world, combining the highest energy of life, capable of discovering the source of infinite power, to find its meaning to live on joyfully.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Nicholas Roerich worked in the Kulu Valley for the last 20 years of his life, his wife Elena Roerich wrote “Living Ethics” here, they created the Urusvati Institute here. Here our reality is intertwined with the world of the ancient gods so closely that it is felt physically. Here we will live our history in the space of the Roerichs, looking, just as they did more than half a century ago, at the ancient Beas River and the sacred Mount Hepang. We will visit the Roerichs’ House Museum, and our guide Natasha will tell us about the place in detail – she has been working here for the last few years. <\/p>\n\n

Yuri Roerich, son of Nikolai Konstantinovich Roerich, wrote about Kula:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

“Hidden in the mountains is a forgotten civilization that preserves ancient wisdom and culture.The Kulu Valley embodies an earthly paradise, which is beyond the comprehension of a man living in the present moment, but which reveals itself in all its pristine beauty to the onewho realizes the essence of the centuries-old union of man and nature.”<\/p>\n\n

We will also visit the places where Krishna<\/strong> and the heroes of the Mahabharata <\/strong> lived. <\/p>\n\n

We will visit Manali, the city where all problems are solved<\/strong>. In any Indian movie, if the characters don’t know what to do, they go to Manali! <\/p>\n\n

We will see the sacred mountain Kinnor Kailash,<\/strong> which is considered the winter residence of the god Shiva.<\/p>\n\n

We will visit Buddhist temples<\/strong> and puja (services) at Buddhist monasteries. <\/p>\n\n
