Day of the Dead is one of the most fun and unusual holidays in the world! It is a few days full of fun, songs, dances, carnivals and festive processions. It’s colorful Mexican traditions, colorful costumes, all-night festivities and a huge dose of good cheer. The idea behind the holiday is to remember relatives who have left their bodies. Mexicans believe that as long as they remember their ancestors, they are alive. Death in Mexico is not considered something finite. It’s just a transition from one life form to another, so there’s nothing to be sad about.We will celebrate the Day of the Dead in one of Mexico’s most beautiful colonial towns, Oaxaca. It’s impossible not to fall in love with this city. So colorful, distinctive and welcoming is it.Also on the trip we will visit the “silver” capital of Mexico – the town of Taxco and the cradle of Mexican Baroque – the city of Pueblo.<\/p>\n\n

Our trip to Mexico is not just about the festival. We will also go in search of abandoned cities of ancient civilizations. We will meditate at the majestic pyramids of the Moon and Sun of Teotihuacan, the oldest civilization of this region. Let’s touch the mystery of the Zapotec civilization at Monte Alban.We will go on a fascinating journey through the underground world – descending into the caves of Cacahuamilpa,<\/strong> which are millions of years old. It is the largest “living” cave system in the world!<\/p>\n\n

We will see one of the oldest trees on earth, the Thule tree, which is over 2,000 years old, and majestic cacti that are several times the size of a human.<\/p>\n\n

We will bathe in natural pools of emerald mineral water located in the mountains on the bluff – Hierve El Agua. It’s a cosmic experience of a lifetime!<\/p>\n\n

In the second part of our trip, we will enjoy the wildlife of the Pacific Coast. After the bustling city fun, it will be especially valuable to relax in a tropical paradise on the deserted, pristine beaches at Puerto Escondido and Huatulco.<\/p>\n\n
