Day 1. Lima – City Tour Lima
Welcome to Peru!
Arrival at Lima airport.
Reception, transfer to the hotel located in the residential district of Miraflores. Arrival at the hotel, check in and rest. In the afternoon departure for a city tour of Lima, we will start our tour through the modern residential districts of Miraflores and San Isidro. Panoramic visit to the Huaca Pucllana, a pre-Inca ceremonial temple in the form of a pyramid that has survived human expansion, we will make a brief stop at the Parque del Amor located on the Malecon of Miraflores, from where we will observe the Pacific Ocean. We continue to the Historic Centre of Lima, visiting the Plaza de Armas, the Government Palace, the Cathedral with a guided visit to the Convent of Santo Domingo, one of the most important convents of the 17th century. Where the relics of the three Peruvian saints Santa Rosa de Lima, San Martin de Porres and San Juan Macias are preserved. Return to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 2. Lima – Paracas – Ballestas islands
Early in the morning transfer to the bus station to board the regular bus to the city of Paracas (3.5 hours trip approx). Arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel. Beginning of our excursion to the Ballestas Islands, located outside the area of the Paracas National Reserve, they are the habitat of a great variety of marine fauna such as the Humboldt Penguin, Pelican, Boobies, Flamingos, Dolphins and Sea Lions, which can be easily observed from a motor boat, after 02 hours return to the hotel. Rest of the day free to enjoy the hotel facilities.

Day 3. Paracas – Nazca Lines – Lima

In the morning transfer to Pisco airport to fly over the Nazca Lines, an enormous network of lines and drawings of animals and plants attributed to the Nazca culture covering an area of approximately 350 km2. Among the main figures we can appreciate the Hummingbird, the Dog, the Monkey, the Astronaut, etc. In the afternoon, transfer to the station to board the regular bus to Lima (3.5 hours trip approx.). Arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel.

Day 4. Lima – Cusco
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to the airport to fly to the Imperial city of Cusco. Arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel. Check-in and rest. Rest of the day at leisure to acclimatise to the altitude.

Day 5. Cusco – Cusco and archaeoligical sites
Breakfast at the hotel.
In the afternoon, guided tour of the imperial city of Cusco. We start our tour visiting the Qorikancha or Temple of Gold, considered the most important religious centre of the Incas. Then we will visit the impressive city of Cusco, built on the foundations of Inca palaces. We will walk through its main streets and squares. We will visit the Cathedral of Cusco and appreciate its beautiful architecture and paintings dating back to colonial times.
Afterwards we will visit the four archaeological sites near the city: Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay. On this tour we will discover the mystery of this mythical city, its legends, its religion, the life of its rulers, the techniques used in the construction of its impressive buildings, as well as the arrival of the Spaniards and the foundation of Colonial Cusco. Day 6. Cusco – Moray Archaeological Centre – Maras Salt Mines – Ollantaytambo

The first place we will visit is the village of Chinchero, famous for its archaeological centre and world renowned for its textiles. We will visit a Cultural Centre, whose mission is to help the survival of textile traditions and provide support to the families of the communities that participate in the project. This recently inaugurated Cultural Centre is strategically located on the top of a mountain, from where we will appreciate the landscape, the archaeological centre and a part of the original Inca Trail that crosses this place. It will be an unforgettable experience where we will appreciate the native camelids of Peru, a demonstration of textile art in its most natural expression and we will learn about various ancient Andean customs that are still alive today. We will then visit Moray, a formidable Inca archaeological complex, made up of overlapping circular terraces that form a great laboratory for agricultural experimentation that reproduces the climatic conditions of different ecological zones of the empire. Finally we will make a brief visit to the town of Maras and then continue on to the famous salt mines, made up of more than 3,000 pools, which are crossed by a stream of salt water that nourishes them and which, under the action of the intense sun, sprout the crystals of coarse salt that are later harvested. We will learn about the production and extraction processes of the pink salt of Maras, known worldwide for its medicinal properties. Lunch at a local restaurant. Later we will go to the village of Ollantaytambo. We will visit the archaeological complex that at the time of the conquest served as the fortress of Manco Inca, leader of the resistance. At the end transfer to the hotel located in the Sacred Valley. Check-in and rest. Rest of the day free to enjoy the hotel facilities. Overnight (Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 7. Sacred Valley – Machu Picchu – Cusco
Breakfast at the hotel.
Excursion to Macchu Picchu by train.
Departure by regular transfer to Ollanta train station to board the train to the town of Aguas Calientes. Arrival, reception and assistance to board the buses to make the ascent to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, we will start the visit observing the great landscape that surrounds it. The tour lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes, at the end of which we will descend to the town of Aguas Calientes for shopping. At the scheduled time we will board the return train to the Ollanta train station. Arrival, reception and transfer in regular service to the hotel in Cusco.
