Day 1: San Jose
Arrival at Juan Santamaria International Airport. Meeting and transfer to the hotel.
San Jose is the capital of Costa Rica. In San Jose, old buildings seamlessly juxtapose with modern structures made of glass and concrete to create a unique style.

Day 2: Coffee Plantation Doka – Poas Volcano – La Paz waterfalls and park with butterflies, hummingbirds, exotic birds – Arenal Volcano
A visit to theDoka coffee plantation , where the best Costa Rican coffee is grown. You will have the opportunity to learn about the process of growing, harvesting, processing and roasting coffee. Don’t miss the opportunity to purchase it at the lowest prices.
Next, transfer toVolcan National Park Poas. As you climb the volcano, you will notice how the temperature and vegetation will change! Along the way you will see coffee plantations, flower and strawberry greenhouses creating a beautiful landscape. At Poas Volcano you can not only admire the impressive crater with its sulphurous fumaroles, but also learn about the different ecosystems of this beautiful national park.
After your visit to the volcano, you’ll head to the La Paz Waterfall Garden, where you’ll walk along a trail that leads to scenic waterfalls deep in the forest , and you can visit the hummingbird gallery, serpentarium, bird garden, butterfly farm and frog exhibit .
Transfer to Arenal Volcano.

Day 3: Arenal – Caño Negro Reserve
After breakfast, we will start our tour to Caño Negro. This reserve is home to a huge variety of birds and exotic wildlife such as: sloths, monkeys, caimans, basilisks; as well as numerous tropical plants. Cruise on a comfortable boat through a unique national reserve, enjoying the diversity of flora and fauna.
At the end of the tour, lunch awaits you.

Day 4: Arenal – Monteverde – fly over the rainforest
Enjoy a boat ride across Lake Arenal to Monteverde, home to the unique Quaker/Tico community. Getting to know the local community.
On this day you will enjoy a fascinating Canopy Tour or a flight over the crowns of the Cloud Rainforest. And if you are lucky, you can see the sacred bird of the Maya Indians, the famous Quetzal, which is on the verge of extinction.

Day 5: Monteverde Cloud Forest
Today you will be visiting one of the world’s premier destinations for naturalists, the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, located on the Cordillera Tilaran in northwestern Costa Rica at an elevation of nearly five thousand feet. This biological reserve, was established to preserve the Cloud Rainforest ecosystem. It covers an area of 10,000 hectares and is an important link in the country’s growing network of protected forests.
