Mystical Kailas with Ekaterina Savanchuk and Regina Ermakovic. 12 days (with domestic flight)

Imagine standing at the foot of a mountain that a billion people consider sacred. The air is crystal clear, the silence rings in your ears, and inside you feel like you are finally home. This journey to Mount Kailas is not just a tour of Tibet. It is a deep dive into yourself, into ancient culture, and into places where the energy of the planet can be felt physically.

Especially in 2026, the year of the Fire Horse, when, according to Tibetan beliefs, the energy of each step around the sacred mountain is multiplied 13 times..

We have been organizing tours to Kailas for more than 13 years. During this time we have traveled to Koru more than 1,000 people. We know every detail of this journey and have created a system where you can trust us completely and focus on what matters most – yourself.

This journey is not just a detour around the mountain. It is a total immersion in the magic of Tibet.

Frequently Asked Questions

We understand that traveling to Tibet is a big dream and an important step. That’s why we have collected answers to the questions that travelers are most often concerned about.

1. How difficult is it? What kind of physical training is needed?

Don’t worry, you don’t need to be a professional climber. The most important thing is your stamina. The route includes long walks (the bark around Kailas lasts 3 days), but no technical climbing. If you can walk at a brisk pace for 5-6 hours without any problems, do yoga, jog or just lead an active lifestyle – you will manage. We will walk at a leisurely pace to let the body get used to the altitude.

2. What about mountain sickness? How will we get used to the altitude?

This is the most important issue, and we take it very seriously. Our program is built on the principle of smooth acclimatization: we will gradually gain altitude, giving the body time to adapt. Our guide is an experienced guide who will constantly monitor the well-being of each participant. It is normal to feel a little sick at altitude, but we will do our best to make it as mild as possible. The main thing is to drink plenty of water, move slowly and listen to your body and your guide.

3. I am traveling alone/alone. Will this tour be suitable for me?

Of course! What’s more, so many of our travelers go on tour alone. This is a great opportunity to meet people close to your heart, make new friends and still have time for solitude. There is always a warm and friendly atmosphere in the group, so you will definitely not feel lonely.

4. What about a visa to Tibet? Is it difficult to get one?

You don’t have to worry about that. We take care of the hardest part – getting a group permite (permit) to enter Tibet. A regular tourist visa to China is not required at this time.

5. What conditions will we live in and what will we eat?

We will stay in proven, clean and cozy hotels. In the cities, these will be comfortable hotels with all amenities. During the bark around Kailas the conditions will be more simple, trekking, but that’s part of the adventure! There will be no problems with food: we will be sampling local Tibetan and Chinese cuisine. Both meat and vegetarian dishes can always be found.

6. What other costs await me besides the cost of the tour?

We have tried to include as much as possible. In addition, you will need to plan for the costs of:

  • International flight to the starting point (Lhasa) and back.

  • Meals: On average, it’s about $25-35 dollars a day.

  • Personal expenses: Souvenirs, tips to local guides and drivers (it’s a good tradition), personal shopping.

We’ll be sure to make more detailed budget recommendations before we travel.

7. What are the most important things to take with you?

The most important thing is comfortable, comfortable, comfortable trekking shoes. Your feet will thank you! Also important is the principle of “cabbage” in clothing: several layers that can be easily taken on and off. It can be hot and sunny during the day and cool in the evenings and mornings. Be sure to take a good sunscreen, sunglasses, headgear and a personal first aid kit with the medicines you are used to. We will of course send a detailed list to all participants.

We hope we have answered your main questions! If anything remains unclear, feel free to write to us – we will be happy to tell you everything.
