What this program offers is a comfortable journey without long transfers, where moderate physical activity is harmoniously combined with relaxation and enjoying the moment. You will not have to carry your belongings and backpacks, moving between points will be done by comfortable transportation.

Kathmandu Valley was called Mandala of Nepal in ancient times.
The Kathmandu Valley is an elliptical shape approximately 24 km long, and approximately 19 km wide. The altitude is about 1400 meters above sea level. The valley is surrounded on four sides by hills that screen it from the Himalayan Mountains, whose peaks can be seen from Kathmandu on a clear, sunny day.

The Kathmandu Valley’s tapestry of religion is made up of many colors and shades; there is animistic belief – worship of nature spirits, shamanism; there is worship of Shakti energy – the Mother Goddess (Kali, Lakshmi, Mahakali), and ascetic yogis who worship Shiva (Pashupati), and Vishnu worshippers (Changu Narayan) and of course Buddhism. The main, main background for all these colors is Hinduism (up to 80%) and Tantric Buddhism. Despite the difference in tradition Hinduism and Buddhism exist harmoniously here, perhaps precisely because of Tantra.

Kathmandu’s global cultural heritage is unique. Of the 8 located in Nepal, 7 are in Kathmandu Valley: Kathmandu Palace Square, Patan Palace Square, Bhaktapur Palace Square, Swayambhunath Stupa, Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple Complex, Changu Narayan Temple. During the week of our Kathmandu program, we will see them all. We will visit not only the most popular tourist spots, but also go on short trips to remote areas of Kathmandu Valley, discovering unique temples, caves, places of power, little known to tourists.

    Travel program

Day 1September 1, 2025, Monday. Arrival in Kathmandu. Airport pickup. Transfer to the hotel. Exchanging money, getting to know each other, taking vacations. Walk to Boudhanath Stupa, bark around the Stupa. Visit to a Tibetan medicine clinic.

Boudhanath Stupa – a place with amazing energy. Some scenes from the movie “Little Buddha” were filmed here. It is the oldest and largest stupa. Buddhists from all over the world come here to visit, including the most famous, movie actor Richard Gere. Here from early morning till late evening people walk around the Stupa – this ritual of going around the holy place is called kora. While circumambulating the Stupa, believers recite mantras and make prostrations. It purifies karma and also our heart and mind. Once at the Stupa, everyone, regardless of their faith, feels a sense of belonging to the flow of Love and Power that has been going on here for centuries. One of the main relics of the Boudhanath stupa is the ashes of the body of Shakyamuni Buddha, the founder of the world religion. The second relic – it is not so obvious, only the “initiated” – the Tibetan Lamas (Gurus) know about it. It is a statue of the guardian of the stupa itself and the space around it. She grants all wishes. You may or may not believe that. In our experience, it works. After fulfilling a few wishes, you begin to understand the meaning of the expression, “Fear your wishes – they come true!”. Make wishes at a certain place that we will show you. There are dozens of Buddhist monasteries in the Bouda area. We will visit some of them, attend a puja – a service. If you wish, you can visit a Tibetan medicine clinic on this day and have a health consultation with a Tibetan doctor. You can also get a Ku-Nye Tibetan massage there. It’s a day of meeting, relaxing, getting to know each other.

.We will visit the samadhi of the enlightened Shivapuri Baba. He lived 137 years of earthly life and traveled most of the time on foot. Shivapuri baba, one of the first spiritual teachers of the East, who visited different corners of the planet. He traveled to more than 50 countries and met leaders of many nations, eminent scholars and ordinary people. Shivapuri Baba had an audience with British Queen Victoria 18 times and lived at the palace for a total of about three years. While in the United States, he met with President Theodore Roosevelt. In Russia he stayed with Leo Tolstoy and had a great influence on him. He spent the last 37 years in Nepal, until he left his body. The King of Nepal himself allotted him land on Mount Shivapuri. We will visit the Samadhi (burial place) of Shivapuri Baba. It is said that Shivapuri Baba’s body is in the posture of meditation and does not decompose. It is a place with a very special energy where special states of consciousness occur. We tested it out on ourselves, many of our travelers had “insights” here, very unusual events. This is indirect evidence of his spiritual attainment. “God came like a flash and all questions were answered and all problems disappeared forever.” (Shivapuri Baba).

Pashupatinath, the shrine of Shiva , is the most important Hindu temple complex of Nepal, laid down in the 13th century. Chronicles say that the temple existed even before the 4th century BC. Besides the temple itself, the complex includes nursing homes, a hospice for the terminally ill and various homes and caves of hermits, sadhus. It is a place that is shockingly frank – here they burn the bodies of the dead and send the ashes down the river. Everyone who happens to be here can see the cremation ceremony, as it is a common process for the locals. We will see the evening ceremony of lights and Aarati music.

Meeting with a jyotish astrologer. Lecture and individual consultation (optional).

Apart from the main temple, the courtyard houses other shrines dedicated to Shiva, Chinna Masta (Kali), Ganesha and Krishna.

Not far from Kathmandu lies a marvelous “land of saints” called Bhaktapur. It is an open-air museum with unique Navar architecture, wood and stone carvings. It is also called the land of artisans.
