India’s colored cities and the Scrolls of Destiny. 13 days

A journey through the colorful cities of the royal state of India – Rajasthan:

Places we will visit on this trip:

Jaisalmer is the Golden City in the Thar Desert, the center of the caravan routes of antiquity. It is home to the only fort in India that is still inhabited by people as it was hundreds of years ago. The city is home to magnificent ancient Jainist temples.

Jodhpur is the Blue City, often called the Sun City for its always clear weather. It was the capital of the Rajput principality of Marwar until the mid-20th century.

Udaipur – The White City, the Venice of India, former capital of the Rajput principality of Mewar. The city of picturesque palaces on the banks of man-made lakes.

Ravla Khempur is a Rajah’s castle in the suburbs of Udaipur built in 1620. It is famous all over the world for hosting the filming of the famous British movie “Marigold Hotel Best of the Exotic” and its sequel “Marigold Hotel: The Settlement Continues” in 2011 and 2015. The famous Marwar horses, descendants of the war horses of the Rajput kings of Rajasthan, are bred here.

Pushkar is a center of Hindu pilgrimage. It is home to the world’s only temple of the god Brahma. The sacred lake Pushkar is surrounded by a thousand temples. Going around the lake frees one from negative karma.

Chittogarh is one of the largest forts in India. The main events of the confrontation between the Rajas of Rajasthan and the Mughals took place here. It is also home to ancient Hindu temples of historical significance.

Jaipur is the Pink City, the capital of Rajasthan. It is the center of India and the world for processing precious and semi-precious stones, silver and gold and creating jewelry. Jaipur’s forts and castles are symbols of India.

The program includes a visit to the library where the Scrolls of Destinies of all mankind are kept – Palm Leaves. The predictions of Brigu Shastri.
The village of Karoi (Thar Desert in the state of Rajasthan) holds the Scrolls of Destiny or Palm Leaves on which are written the predictions of the fate of all the people of the earth. They were recorded 5000 years ago by Bhrigu Muni, the founder of the Indian astrological system of Jyotish.
We get our Palm Leaves read to us by hereditary astrologer Pandit Udai Lal (Udai Lal)!

Rajasthan is a special state in India, the very “India of childhood”, of oriental fairy tales, that has beckoned us all for many years. Literally, the name of the state means “Land of the Rajas” – influential people – kings, princes. There are countless palaces, forts, and havelis (buildings with paintings and beautiful stone carvings) in Rajasthan, immersing us in the times of the Rajas.

Rajasthan is not only an open-air museum and architectural masterpieces of the past. This land is very real, very much alive. Why is there joy and a sense of intoxicating freedom?

Perhaps they are born of the timeless and somewhat sad sounds of the ravanahatha strings, played on a red sunset by a mustachioed wanderer in a turban and earrings in his ears?

Or are the descendants of the Gypsies still able to make us feel this very “present moment” with their dizzying and passionate dance in action rather than in words?

On this journey, everyone will have the opportunity to feel like a raja or princess – because we will not stay overnight in simple hotels, but in real palaces, where the raja lived! (in some places). We will spend several days and nights in the legendary hotel known worldwide as “Marigold Hotel – The Best of the Exotic”. The series of the same name starring Richard Gere was filmed here. Here too we will be treated to a professional photo and video shoot in Indian costumes, horseback riding and meeting the owners of the hotel.

To truly immerse yourself in Indian culture, we have included workshops on cooking traditional Rajasthani food and drinks, painting Rajasthani miniatures, putting on saris for women and turbans for men, and a lesson in horseback riding.

We will also participate in a puja (Hindu religious service) for the well-being and health of all the participants of the trip.
