One of the great Indian sages, the creator of the Jyotish system of astrology, Brigu-Muni created a horoscope-prediction for every human being who has ever lived on earth.
And he did it 5,000 years ago.
Since then, his students and followers have kept these leaves, transcribed and read the prediction to anyone who has come to know their future and their destiny.
I searched for this place at the request of the group organizers from Kazakhstan. They asked for it very much. I didn’t want to have my palm leaf read to me because, according to the story, the prediction is too accurate, right down to the names of the children. I thought it was too sad to know my future so accurately. But I needed to test the system, so I found the right place and the best foreman brig and made an appointment.
To say I’m amazed is an understatement. After that meeting, I realized that my every move was predetermined, but it turned out to be neither sad nor scary. It brought calm. It’s still up to me to take those steps. But the prediction turned out to be the very assurance we expect from life all our lives.
So how does this all work technically. First of all, the whole village is in the fortune-telling business. I was, on recommendation, taken to the most respected craftsman here. By the way, he often hosts Russian-speaking groups. Prediction for one person takes 20-30 minutes.
I was in the company of my agent and his daughter, we were exploring this part of Rajasthan to check and adjust travel programs. I was a little angry that they had entered the room with me instead of staying outside. It seemed like such an intimate process. But they were very helpful in the process with the translation. And that turned out to be part of the prediction too, which I’ll tell you about later.
The master wrote down my date and place of birth with chalk on a stone board, then looked carefully at my hands, filling the entire surface of the stone with signs. Then he calculated something and ended up writing down two three-digit numbers.
Next, he pulled one of the many plates with printed circles out of the folder. Inside and around each one were icons and numbers. He asked me to poke my finger into one of the 21 circles. Without thinking, I pointed to a circle of some sort. The master showed his notes. The numbers on his board and the numbers of the circle I chose matched. The figures and texts are all in Hindi.
It was a validation of the correct data and the correct choice of my palm leaf. Too esoteric, but that’s the reality of it. Likewise, the data and randomly selected “catalog numbers” of my fellow travelers matched later on.
The Master considered it a good sign.
Then he opened a folder with sheets of paper on which were printed texts in the manner of manuscripts. He picked the one with my number written on it. I was counting on palm leaves, but it turned out that they had long since been copied so as not to unnecessarily crack them.
There weren’t many sheets in the folder. I realize now that the sheets of those who would come were already known to the master in advance. That’s what he took with him to the prediction room.
Then he read my prediction, including the past, present and future of this life, as well as reasons from past lives why I am here and what will happen in the next. He also talked a little bit about my son’s future. He also answered my questions. He answered quickly: either the questions and answers had already been written down, or he too had foresight.
I have already done a prediction jyotish and been to a consultation with the Dalai Lama astrologer. Brigu’s prediction matched them completely, but the wizard added a lot of details and events I hadn’t heard about yet.
After me, the girl Vrinda sat down to listen to the prediction. That’s when I finally believed everything that was going on. The master started to read, but suddenly handed her this laminated sheet with a fortune and asked her to read it herself. She and her dad were shocked. It said in Hindi that she would come for the prediction on such and such a day of Navaratri, April 13, 2024, in the company of two other people, and the prediction would be read out at 1 p.m. The three of us looked at our watches. 1:00 p.m. sharp. Well the date is April 13, the height of Navaratri. By the way, we had planned to arrive a day early but had to reschedule. And my traveling companions decided to find out their prediction at the last minute. We were not asked for our details or names in advance when we signed up.
Master said that the three of us are here just for Vrinda’s sake. So her prediction kind of orchestrated this trip. And I, because of this, became finally convinced of the reality of this predictive system.
When we went outside, for probably the first time in my life, I didn’t feel anxious. There was silence and certainty inside. I think it’s even worth coming here for that. The prediction is fire, though. A life full of meaning and cool stuff is just beginning. But I’m not getting married again.) But I know how many grandchildren I’ll have.
