Nepal: Between Heaven and Earth Meditation Retreat and Trekking in the Himalayas

11 days / 10 nights in Nepal

For centuries, the Himalayas have been considered a mecca for those in search of truth. There are many beautiful mountains and beautiful places in the world, but the Himalayas are more than beauty – they are also imbued with the experience of the Buddhas. They contain a certain atmosphere, which can be noticed in the measured life of local mountain dwellers. What mystics, enlightened and spiritual wanderers have not visited these lands on their way from India to Tibet and back. This location of Nepal makes it unique both in nature and in its rich cultural heritage.
In our program we decided to combine movement into the mountains and movement inside…
The program consists of two parts:

Part 1. Purification by Nature.
The first part of the program takes us on hikes, daily, hours-long walks along Himalayan mountain trails, picturesque villages, rivers and waterfalls. Getting to know the local culture. And it’s all in the spring when the rhododendrons are in bloom! What better way to restore our nervous system and strengthen our physical strength! We will ascend to Mardi base camp above the clouds over 4,500 meters to the very, very snowy Himalayas and experience what it might feel like to have eagles soaring through the sky. It’s amazing how nature heals: already on the second day of trekking the body quickly adapts to the loads, and by the end of the hike we feel that we have become more fit, more robust. And when we close our eyes, all our inner space will be filled with Gymlai beauties. It’s an amazing experience!

Part 2. Movement Inwards.
In the second part of the program, after returning from the hike, we will begin our introduction to meditations from the world of Osho and pick up the keys to our inner Himalayan peaks. Three days of intense meditation techniques, pranayama, stretching, and dance techniques led by Osho sanyasins with years of ashram experience and meditation. Four meditations a day. More than 15 hours of deep diving. If you have a request to know yourself, it’s time to fulfill it!
Practicing in the mountains in spiritual places always goes deeper.

Overnight stays on the whole trek are in mountain huts with sleeping places and restaurants for tourists (tents and sleeping bags are not necessary). Despite the ascent to an altitude of more than 4000 meters, the altitude is tolerable because we will have time to adapt; our ascent will be gradual and gentle. Also on the way we have enough natural oxygen due to the surrounding Himalayan forest. No special preparation is required for this trekking. One of your backpacks will be carried by a porter (about 15-20 kg, no more), the other light backpack (water, personal necessities) you carry yourself.

Day 9. Day Two of the Meditation Retreat.
